As I’m holding my newborn child
I feel the weight of the world upon me
It feels
heavy
chaotic
How will I navigate through the chaos I feel?
Because I was born for a time like this

I am armed with God’s gifts
I have a baby in one arm and the sword of truth in the other-I can discern
I can see
I can feel
I can stand
I can nurture
